All About Birds

This program can be for either scouts or their adult Girl Scout leaders

Befuddled by Birds?   Wondering who’s who at the bird feeder and which birds eat which seed?   Get help with these questions and many more at this lively presentation. We will go over bird ID tips, which bird is likely to use which feeder and what types of food to use.  We can talk about habitat – how to make your yard more attractive for birds and how to keep birds coming all year round.   It’s likely that you know more about birds than you give yourself credit for. After this program utilize your new skills during outings with your girls. You can tie in listening skills and visual cues to “Senses” for Daisies.
Fee is $5 per person. NOTE: If you are setting a class up for Leaders, then it is adults only. Contact Carol Mundy to set a date for your Scouts or Troop Leaders.
